S. Scott Baker is from Norton, VA.  He is a 1990 graduate of John I. Burton High School.  Scott obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 1995, earning a B.A. in American History.  Scott then graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1998, earning his Juris Doctor.  He is admitted to practice in all Virginia Courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia, the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
